East Bay Express Legal Notice Publication Information We publish a variety of Legal Notices. Below are the most common legal notices we publish. You can also email your inquiries to legalnotices@eastbayexpress.com Commonly Filed Legal Notices in the East Bay Express: • Fictitious Business NameStatements • Abandonment of Fictitious Business Name Statements • Order to Show Cause for Change of Name Publishing Requirements for the Legal Notices Listed Above: • Must have filed your legal notice with the County Clerk • Must have your endorsed paperwork back from the County Clerk (should have a file #, stamp, and signature) • The East Bay Express MUST have a fax or original copy of your paperwork. Please fax to 510-879-3793. Publishing Fees: Onetime Fee of $75 Instructions on how to file your Legal Notice in the East Bay Express: 1. You can file your Legal Notice over the phone and fax, or in person. • Fax your paperwork to 510-879-3793. Please put your PHONE NUMBER on the paperwork. We will call you for the $75 payment once your information is input into our booking system. -OR- • Come into the office with your endorsed paperwork and the $75 cash, check or credit card. -OR- • Mail in the pink copy of your paperwork with a $75 check. 2. We will publish your ad for 4 consecutive issues. 3. We will send YOU the Afidavit of Publication once it your ad run is over. 4. It is then your responsibility to take the paperwork wherever it needs to be filed. It’s ultimately the obligation of the party seeking publication to ascertain that the East Bay Express is an appropriate venue for their publication, We will do what we can to affirmatively work with folks who may have questions.
